When Do You Need Avail?

There’s a difference between home care and home health care.

As a Licensed Nurse Registry, we provide support for clients to perform activities of daily living or “ADLs” which refers to activities such as bathing, grooming, transferring, mobility, transportation, and supervision.

If you or a loved one is facing life limitations because you or they:

  • Have experienced memory loss.
  • Can’t get into and out of bed, chairs, or showers/tubs safely.
  • Can’t navigate the home safely (stairs, shag carpet, uneven flooring).
  • Can’t drive safely.
  • Can’t dress or undress without assistance.
  • Can’t prepare meals or eat without assistance.
  • Can’t conduct basic housekeeping.

…then home care services are what’s needed.

Our Care Directors can conduct a free in-home assessment for your or your loved one(s) to determine a custom program of care that makes the most out of your benefits or funds.

We Got This

Finding and managing the best caregiver requires a whole lot more than most people realize. Making sure that the caregiver you select is fully vetted, licensed, and insured and comes with great references is no small task. And beyond that, employing them yourself instead of through an agency like ours means ensuring that you stay compliant with all labor and tax laws.

When you or a loved one is facing increased life limitations due to changes in health, it can be very frustrating and stressful. This is not a time when anyone wants to learn a new industry or process, and we believe you shouldn’t have to, so that’s where we come in.

Optimize Your Funds

Home care services like those described above are not covered by Medicare or medical insurance (like Blue Cross or AETNA). As a home care provider, we can accept Long Term Care Insurance, VA Aid & Attendance, and private pay. We do not accept Medicaid at this time.

Let our Care Directors conduct a free in-home assessment for you or your loved one(s) to help you get the most out of your benefits or funds. We can help stop Long Term Care insurance premiums, get you through your waiting period at no cost, connect you with advisors to navigate VA applications, or simply organize your care to get the most from your own funds.

What people think about us

I don't know if I can describe in words how absolutely extraordinary this company is. My husband and I are on the opposite side of the US because he's stationed in CA and my mom lives in assisted living in FL. My mom needed some additional assistance after breaking her hand and Chad and Adam have been amazing. Their attention to detail is great, their communication is very much appreciated; last but not least, their kindness and care to my mother is exceptional. It's almost like family is taking care of her. If you are looking for someone to help with your loved one, call this place!- Peg Anderson Harris
I watch my grandchildren while their parents work. I’m not sure how I could do it without the help from the staff at Avail. They care for my grandchildren like they were their own.- Pam B, Clearwater, FL
Chad and Adam are the most caring people I have had the privalege to know. I live in CA and my mom lives in FL. She recently needed ``an extra hand`` because her one good one was broken. Chad and Adam went with her to appointments, kept me and my sisters up to date on her visits, and called or texted us to keep us up to date on her condition. Chad visits the facility she is in for rehab on a regular basis, and even when he is not there to take her for an appointment, he stops by to see her, always with a smile on his face. I cannot say enough how much my sisters and I appreciate their care of my mom. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! If you are in need of care, or have a loved one who does, I HIGHLY recommend these gentlemen!- Mary Wheeler
From the moment I learned about Avail, I was impressed with their level of professionalism and genuine compassion. I wouldn’t consider any other company to take care of my family.- Joanne C, Dunedin, FL
Our appointment for my Mom was great. Adam from Avail Home Care was wonderful to provide their service today. We found out on Monday that we needed to have an assistant from a private company to lift Mom in and out of her wheelchair for her eye appointment. He met us at Seasons of Largo. The appointment was almost 5 hours long. His attention to detail was terrific. Very caring and involved with Moms needs. We have set up 3 more appointments for her with Avail Home Care. If anyone needs help with their home care and transportation this is the company to call. Thanks for everything and making a long day go by without any problems- Linda McDonough
If your loved one needs assistance, there is no one I would trust more to ensure they receive the care they need.- Matthew Waidley
