Why Caregivers Love Avail Home Care
Jumpstart your caregiving career!
People have many career choices today. Those who choose to become caregivers do it because they care about people. Few of them choose to become caregivers because they want to do a bunch of paperwork. What Avail promises the caregivers who choose to join our roster is:
Training and education (maintain your CEUs)
Client and caregiver referral bonuses
Daily pay/pay advance options
Get matched with "dream clients"
We will do our utmost to increase your access to “dream clients,” those whose needs, personalities, and programs of care match with your preferences and availability.
We'll help you stay compliant
We will help you to keep up with your state and federal licensure, training requirements, and reporting requirements to maintain your CEUs.
We manage your paperwork
We manage all of the invoicing and payment collection and will support communication with your clients around pricing and issues such as overtime and holiday pay.
We are hiring!
We are looking for Certified Home Health Aides (HHA) and Licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join the Avail Home Care nurse registry. We have a rapidly growing number of available shifts with fantastic patients who need exceptional caregivers.
What are the steps to join the Avail roster?
1.) If you’re already a Certified HHA or Licensed CNA, just click the button below to start our online application. Our office manager and scheduler, Samantha, will reach out to you with next steps.
2.) Once you’ve submitted your application, we will need to have copies of the documents listed here on our Caregiver Checklist.
What if I Don’t Have an HHA Certificate or CNA License?
We now have our new online Avail Academy for those wishing to earn a 40 hour HHA certification. Click the link to learn more.
How Much Experience Do I Have to Have?
Of course experience is preferred, but we’ve had fantastic caregivers who were just starting out their careers! Typically people don’t just decide to be a caregiver one day. We find that most “new” caregivers have provided care to family, friends, or community members for years and have simply found their calling. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
What else should I know?
Avail Home Care is a licensed nurse registry providing personal home care. We are not a home health agency. This means that all of our caregivers are independent contractors (by law that is the only option for nurse registries). You set your own schedule and make your own decisions about the available shifts you’d like to take. That said, we always do our very best to connect patients and caregivers who will THRIVE TOGETHER.
