Florida Home care services are not covered by Medicare or medical insurance (like Blue Cross or AETNA). Unfortunately, those payers only cover acute care needs, such as hospital stays, physical therapy, or wound care.
As a Florida home care provider, we can accept Long Term Care Insurance, VA Aid & Attendance, and private pay. We do not accept Medicaid at this time. When you schedule a free in-home assessment our Care Directors will help you or your loved one(s) determine the best way to get the most out of your benefits or funds.
Long Term Care Insurance
We specialize in Long Term Care Insurance. If you are a Long Term Care Insurance policyholder, you can hand your policy to our Care Directors and they will take care of the rest.
They will work with your insurer to activate your insurance, stopping all premium payments and arranging a custom program of care that gets the most out of your benefits. We can also get you through your waiting period at no cost to you or your family.
VA Aid & Attendance
VA Aid & Attendance funds are for veterans and their spouses to apply to long term care including in-home care like we provide. If you or your loved one served in the military, give our Care Directors a call to learn about the benefits that you can access for your care.
Private Pay
Many of our clients do not have insurance benefits to cover in-home care, however, even when this is the case, we will work with you and your family to help structure a program of care that gets the most out of the funds you have available.
